VISIT PASCAL DISCUSSION BOARD


We bulid new demo-team called CodeX and here is our first demo (final version).
The demo was written fully in BP70 (less than 100 rows in asm), fully 3d and there is about 300-1100 texuted polygons with goraud in one frame!! Sources will be avaible few weeks (or months ;)) later... Here is some screenshots:

After long wait new version of my Svga HiColor rendering engine v1.5.1betareleased and previous one was removed from download area. I don't worked on it so much so in new version only some bugs was fixed. Also added VESA 3.0 extended info fields into TVBEModeInfo record.
New release might work stable now, but it still on beta stage. Get it at download area.
 
 


LAST NEWS


I begin to work under my VFLAT virtual linear frame buffer emulator that will allow you to use modes with linear addressing (no bank cheking and swiching) both under DOS and WINDOWS. That will increase speed of programs very much by allowing not to use bank checking code, because this checking will be performed on hardware level.
Dos version of VFLAT aready works, but not finished yet. Some problems with windows cause me to wait until i'll solve this problem. The first version will work only under TMT pascal, but i thinking to make version that will be compatible with any pascal compiler (Borland pascal (protected mode only), GNU pascal, TMT pascal, FPK pascal).



I thinking to close Svga HiColor RE project because i want to go into C++ coding and that seems that not many people interesting in this library. If somebody still interesed in it please let me know . Also it is a good idea if someone will help me in coding.
